Traffic Cases
The following information from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office indicates drivers and/or owners whose vehicles were involved in accidents.

March 17 – At 2:00 p.m., an injury accident was reported on US 62 10 miles from town. Kimberly Peterson was traveling on Us 62 when she slid into a guardrail due to slippery road conditions, then traveled into the on-coming lane and hit a ditch before flipping on the vehicle’s top.
March 18 – At 10:14 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on Twin Creek Road seven miles from town. Donald Ware was traveling on Twin Creek Road when he rounded a curve and struck a deer causing him to lose control and drive into a creek.
March 20 – At 9:44 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on KY 353 four miles from town. Kent Glenn traveled off the road and overturned several times. Glenn was transported to the sheriff’s office due to a strong odor of alcohol coming from him and refusing to submit to a field test.
March 18 – At 4:30 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on KY 1940 four miles from town. Deborah Garber reported that a dog came into the roadway causing her to strike the dog.
CASE REPORTS
March 9 – At 1:30 p.m., Kevin Mayer reported that his cabin located on Dixon Road had been vandalized including wires cut to the cabin.
March 14 – At 4:23 p.m., Mack Darnell reported that someone had broken into his home on Grays Run Road and taken several $2 biils and several pieces of jewelry.
March 19 – At 5:15 a.m., Katie Hogg reported that someone had broken into her home on KY 36 and taken over $200 worth of change.
March 17 – At 7:43 p.m., Troy Kelly reported that someone had broken into her home at Northside Drive and taken several prescription medications and a PlayStation.
March 11 – At 12 p.m., Joe Hayden reported that one of the nurses that sits with his mother had possibly brought drugs to work with her.
March 15 – At 3 p.m., Gladis Goodman reported that she has been harassed by Anthony Dotson on Facebook.
March 17 – At 2 p.m., Lisa Maybrier reported that she was bitten by a dog while trying to assist someone involved in a wreck.
March 16 – At 1:20 a.m., Veronica Anderson reported that she was being harassed by an unknown person through text messages.
March 21 – At 11:53 p.m., Mark Doyle reported that someone had wrecked on KY 36 and had left the scene of the accident without reporting anything.
CITATIONS
March 16 – At 11:30 a.m., a bench warrant was served on Pleas Hall, 51, for theft by deception including cold checks and contempt of court.
March 16 – At 12:05 p.m., a bench warrant was served on Richard Major, 60, for flagrant non-support.
March 18 – At 9:10 a.m., a bench warrant was served on David Marsh, 29, for theft by deception including cold checks and contempt of court.
March 18 – At 9:26 a.m., Rodney Spears, 30, was arrested for theft by deception including cold checks, operating a moped without a license and no insurance.
March 16 – At 12:38 p.m., Tony White, 27, was arrested for theft by unlawful taking, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, no insurance, DUI, failure to use a child restraint and no license.
March 18 – At 12:20 p.m., an indictment warrant was served on Robert Meadows Jr., 45, for first degree sexual abuse and persistent felony offender.
March 19 – At 11:55 a.m., a warrant was served on Kevin Morris, 34, for probation violation.
