Traffic Cases
The following information from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office indicates drivers and/or owners whose vehicles were involved in accidents.

Jan. 12 – At 10:51 a.m., a non-injury accident was reported on US 27 eight miles north of town. Erin Holtz was traveling on US 27 when a bucket of cement fell off the bed of a work truck causing her to hit the bucket.
Jan. 11 – At 10:39 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on Old Lair Road. Taylor Fry was traveling on Old Lair Road when she rounded a curve and lost control causing her to hit an AT&T utility box.
Jan. 12 – At 10:33 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on Carr Road. William Kearns lost control and drove down an embankment and into a front yard.
Jan. 13 – At 6:30 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on Grays Run Pike, eight miles from town. Arleen Sawyer was traveling struck a deer.
CASE REPORTS
Jan. 14 – At 8:48 a.m., Karen Sims reported that she was assaulted at her home on Bass Lane.
Jan. 14 – At 9 p.m., William Howard reported that his girlfriend had stolen his boots out of his truck.
Jan. 14 – At 10 a.m., Garland Hill reported that some scrap metal had been stolen from him on Upper Curry Road.
Jan. 12 – At 5:25 p.m., Richard Wolsing reported that someone had broken into his home on Stratton Pike but did not take anything.
Jan. 10 – At 10:05 p.m., Fraiser Fryman reported that someone had entered his home through a window and took a Kindle Fire tablet.
Jan. 15 – At 1 p.m., Daniel Kearns reported that someone had broken into his residence on Twin Creek Road and taken a Snap- On tool set.
Jan. 16 – At 10:30 a.m., Craig Ritchie reported that someone had entered his home on Sparks Lane and took a Mossberg shotgun.
Jan. 15 – At 3:30 p.m., Mary Cain reported that someone had broken into her home on Salem Pike and took a gold bracelet.
Jan. 13 – At 3:50 p.m., William Hicks reported that someone had broken into his rental property and took fishing poles and a trolling motor.
CITATIONS
Jan. 7 – At 3:50 p.m., a bench warrant was served on Tony White, 27, for first degree burglary, third degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking of a firearm and theft by unlawful taking.
Jan. 7 – At 4:50 p.m., a warrant was served on Mose Cundiff, 34, for contempt of court.
Jan. 8 – At 1:15 p.m., a criminal summons was issued for Martin Herron, 53, for theft by deception including cold checks.
Jan. 8 – At 3:45 p.m., a criminal summons was issued for Joshua Eckler, 24, for leaving the scene of an accident.
Jan. 10 – At 10:45 a.m., a bench warrant was served on Michael O’Connell, 20, for first degree trafficking a controlled substance.
Jan. 13 – At 10:58 p.m., a bench warrant was served on Mark Ramsey, 42, for contempt of court.
