Traffic Cases
The following information from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office indicates drivers and/or owners whose vehicles were involved in accidents.

Dec. 1 – At 3:50 p.m., an injury accident was reported KY 353 six miles from town. Jerry Walker was attempting to turn into a driveway on KY 353 when he was struck in the rear by a vehicle driven by Jeremy Philpott.
Dec. 2 – At 8:55 a.m., a non-injury accident was reported on US 62 four miles from town. Evarie Howard was traveling on US 62 when a deer jumped from an embankment causing her to hit the deer.
Dec. 2 – At 3:04 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on US 27 two miles from town. Dicie McCalister was traveling on US 27 when she lost control of her vehicle in a curve causing her to hit a guardrail.
Dec. 2 – At 5:53 p.m., an injury accident was reported on US 27 two miles from town. Ashlee Gaunce was traveling on US 27 when she came upon several cows in the road causing her to hit one of them and a tree.
Dec. 5 – At 4:13 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on US 62. Nicholas Marcum was traveling on US 62 when he lost control of his vehicle causing him to hit a farm fence.
Dec. 3 – At 4:26 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on US 62 less than a half mile from town. Brenda Fryman was attempting to back-up in a parking lot and struck a parked, unoccupied vehicle.
Dec. 4 – At 10:11 a.m., a non-injury accident was reported on KY 1054 six miles from town. Johnny Thompson was traveling on KY 1054 when he lost control in a curve causing him to hit a fence.
CASE REPORTS
Nov. 27 – At 7:30 p.m., a domestic violence call was reported to the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office.
Dec. 3 – At 9:49 a.m., James Martin reported that someone had broken into a home on New Lair Road and cut the copper pipe from the home.

CITATIONS
Dec. 3 – At 1:05 p.m., a bench warrant was served on Jason Nichols, 30, for fourth degree assault, buying/possession  of drug paraphernalia and possession of methylene dioxypyrovalerone.
