Traffic Cases
The following information from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office indicates drivers and/or owners whose vehicles were involved in accidents.
Nov. 9 – At 6:59 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on KY 1054 four miles from town. Kimberly King was traveling on KY 1054 when a deer came into the road causing her to hit the deer.
Nov. 15 – At 7:30 a.m., a non-injury accident was reported on US 27 10 miles from town. Dawn Barnes was traveling on US 27 when a deer came into the road causing her to hit the deer.
Nov. 12 – At 7:39 p.m., an injury accident was reported on Renaker Berry Road. Casey Hill was traveling on Renaker Berry Road when a deer came into the road causing him to lose control and slamming into a tree.
Nov. 12 – At 7:19 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on Renaker Berry Road 12 miles from town. Tyler Green was traveling on Renaker Berry Rd. when a deer came into the roadway causing him to lose control of his vehicle resulting in him hitting a tree.
Nov. 13 – At 10:58 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on Edgewater five miles from town. Phillip Kelly was traveling on Edgewater when he came upon two cows in the road causing him to strike one of the cows before coming to a final rest near a fence.
CASE REPORTS
Nov. 11 – At 3:35 p.m., Michael McCall reported that he was assaulted by someone on Elmarch Ave.
Nov. 15 – At 5:14 p.m., Terri Yearsley reported that someone had broken into a home on Dennis Lane and took a game console along with several games and a flat screen TV.
Nov. 9 – At 7:45 p.m., Jane Burgess reported that someone had broken into her home on KY 1032 and took two mounted deer heads and two guns.
Nov. 8 – At 7:40 a.m., a harassment complaint was reported on Oddville Sunrise Road.
Nov. 4 – At 8 p.m., Connie Applegate reported that she was being harassed.
Nov. 5 – At 3:45 p.m., Kevin Duncan reported that he was being harassed over the telephone.
Nov. 13 – At 2 a.m., Valaria Green reported that someone may have tried to enter her home without permission on Grays Run Road.
Nov. 13 – At 10 a.m., Berlin Platt reported that a black truck with a trailer was causing damage on his property on Salem Pike.
Nov. 14 – At 5:30 p.m., Tara Hardin reported that someone had taken her bank card and used it to purchase something in Illinois.
Nov. 12 – At 9:05 p.m., Roy Copes reported that someone had broken into his home on Blakes Lane in Berry and taken 14 bottles of pills.
Nov. 6 – At 4 p.m., Roy Copes reported that someone had broken into a home on Blakes Lane in Berry and taken a gas cook stove.
CITATIONS
Nov. 8 – At 1:30 p.m., a criminal summons was issued for Darlene Gibson, 53, for local violations.
Nov. 12 – At 5:20 p.m., a bench warrant was served on Jessica Commodore, 24, for contempt of court.
