Traffic Cases

Aug. 9 – At 6:35 a.m., an injury accident occurred on New Lair Road three miles from town. Christina Kiskaden was traveling on New Lair Road and lost control of her vehicle in a curve causing her to exit the roadway and strike a tree.

Aug. 14 – At 5:06 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on Old Lair Road four miles from town. Michael Darnell was traveling on Old Lair Road when he drifted into the middle of the roadway and struck the side of Angela Mahorney's oncoming vehicle.

Aug. 10 – At 9:55 p.m., an injury accident was reported on Criswell Road 13 miles from town. Christopher Baxter was traveling on Criswell Road on an ATV when he lost control in a curve causing him to drive through a fence and be ejected from the ATV.

Aug. 8 – At 9:27 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on New Lair Road two miles from town. Samantha Whalen was traveling on New Lair Road when she dropped off the side of the road and struck a utility pole.

August 10 – At 2:00 p.m., a non-injury accident was reported on Grays Run Pike three miles from town. Jesse Land was traveling on Grays Run Pike when a vehicle driven by Heather Florence backed into the roadway striking Land's vehicle.



August 10 – At 12:00 p.m., Glynden King reported that his mailbox had been damaged by a homemade bomb located on US 62.

Aug 13 – At 7:30 p.m., Jason Steffanic reported that a dispute with his neighbor had occurred over an accidental shooting of a pitbull..

Aug. 16 – At 8:45 a.m., Caleb Conley reported that someone broke into his vehicle at the Fast Max #46 and stole a firearm.

Aug. 9 – At 2:41 a.m.Carl Jervis reported a dispute between Frankie Cox and Kameko Jervis on Stroub Lane.

Aug. 5 – At 12:15 p.m., Connie Harris reported harrassing communications from her daughter, Rachel Hunt.

Aug. 8 – At 6:41 p.m., Robert Pugh reported that someone stole his chainsaw and weedeater from his barn located on Pugh's Ferry Road.

Aug. 9 – At 12:22 p.m., Anita Berry reported that several checks and tools were removed from her vehicle.

Aug. 8 – At 4:14 p.m., Stephanie Perez reported that someone had stolen a riding lawn mower and truck toolbox from her side yard on U.S. 62.

Aug. 9 – At 2:40 p.m., Timothy Caldwell reported that he received threatening text messages.

Aug. 10 – At 11:59 p.m., Michael Turner reported that a physical dispute occurred with Kenneth Perkins on KY 36.



Aug. 11 – At 6:11 a.m., a bench warrant was served on Javon Edwards, 26, for theft by unlawful taking, including shoplifting.

Aug. 12 – At 12:51 a.m., a warrant was served on Gary Knipper, 37, for flagrant non-support.

Aug. 9 – At 8:00 p.m., Harrison County Sheriff's Department was called to a domestic assault on KY 36 at which time Frankie Cox, 33, was arrested for second degree assault.

Aug. 13 – At 12:50 p.m., a bench warrant was served on Glenna Sims, 39, for second degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.

 Aug. 13 – At 7:19 p.m., a criminal summons was served on Chad Kiskaden, 31, for theft by deception including cold checks.
