SHERIFF’S REPORT

Traffic Cases

Oct. 25 -- At 8:05 a.m., a non-injury accident occurred on Corinth Stringtown Road 13 miles outside downtown. Stephanie Strobel was driving east into the sun when she encountered an oncoming vehicle in a curve. She swerved to miss the car and ran her car into a ditch.

Oct. 27 -- At 8:41 a.m., a non-injury accident occurred on Davis Lane five miles outside of town. Billy Peak drove off the road to avoid an oncoming car and hit a tree.

Oct. 28 -- At 7:27 p.m., a non-injury accident occurred on KY 1054 one mile outside of town. Tonya Howe struck a deer.

Oct. 29 -- At 9:22 a.m., a non-injury accident occurred on Salem Pike about six miles outside of town. Kristie Faulkner was traveling east pulling a gooseneck trailer loaded with livestock. At the top of a hill, Faulkner met Gina Guillen rounding a curve. Though they swerved, the vehicles collided.

Oct. 29 -- At 6:26 a.m., a non-injury accident occurred on KY 1842 six miles from town. Lesley Aulds lost control of her car and struck a pole.

Oct. 30 -- At 3:30 p.m., a non-injury accident occurred on KY 1743 three miles outside town. Pamela Cantrell lost control of her car, striking a driveway, several shrubs, a plank fence and a tree.

Oct. 31 -- At 12:07 a.m., a non-injury accident occurred on KY 1054 seven miles from downtown. Elizabeth Dunaway struck a deer.

Oct. 31 -- At 3:30 p.m., a non-injury accident occurred on KY 36 just over two miles from town. Ethan G. Rognstad rounded a curve and ran into an embankment.

Oct. 31 -- At 5:19 p.m., a non-injury accident occurred at Wiglesworth Road. two miles outside town. Edrick Smith and Jonathan Abbey, trying to avoid each other on the narrow road, hit each other then ran into trees.

CASE REPORTS

Oct. 21 -- At 4:30 p.m., Joseph Morgan  that someone had broken in and stolen property from his house and garage

Oct. 24 -- At 5:19 p.m., Michael D. Ritchie reported that property was stolen from in and around his mobile home.

Oct. 27 -- At 2:57 p.m., Richard Dixon reported that someone had entered his home and stolen a television and pump-action shotgun.

Oct. 28 -- At 3 p.m., Linda Whisman reported that someone broke into her home and took her television.

Oct. 30 -- At 12:18 p.m., John McCandless reported that someone broke into Double M Dixie Tobacco Warehouse, stealing a large number of items, including a Chevy truck and a loaded rifle.

Oct. 30 -- At 4:25 p.m., Deborah Walther reported that someone removed a bell from her front yard.

Oct. 30 -- At 5 p.m., Darlene Perez reported that someone stole property from her home.

CITATIONS

Oct. 25 -- At 1: 25 p.m., police executed a bench warrant for Brandon Pennington, 26, on charges of burglary in the 2nd degree and criminal mischief in the 3rd degree. 

Oct. 28 -- At 11:40 a.m., a bench warrant was executed against Travis Lonaker, 35, on charges of theft by unlawful taking over $500 but under $10,000.

Oct. 28 -- At 2:40 p.m., a bench warrant was executed against Joshua Fryman, 31, on charges of receiving stolen property under $500.

Oct. 28 -- At 7:29 p.m., bench warrants were executed against Bradley Walker, 31, for two charges of theft by failure to make required disposition of property, no registration plates, no registration receipt, no insurance, operating a motor vehicle under influence of alcohol and drugs, and fraudulent use of a credit card. under $500 over six months

 Oct. 29 -- At 9:05 a.m., a bench warrant was executed against Amber Shadd, 29, on four charges: 1st degree wanton endangerment, unlawful transaction with a minor in the 3rd degree, permitting an unlicensed operator to operate a motor vehicle, and failure to maintain insurance.
