The Harrison County Beef Cattle Association has scheduled their annual Beef Cattle Association meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at the Harrison County Extension Office. The program will begin at 6 p.m. This will serve as the kick-off to the 2014 year.
Anyone interested in the local beef industry are invited to attend our first meeting of the new-year. The program will begin with a meal followed by a short business meeting. Dr. Kenny Burdine, Ag Economist from the University of Kentucky will present a short program of what he sees as the future for Beef Production in KY.
As usual, we ask that you call the Extension Office at 859-234-5510 if you plan to attend. Admission for the evening program will be some type of food product or canned good which will be given to the local food pantry. We hope you can attend this enjoyable meeting.
