Months after an outbreak of the H1N1 virus, health officials say they are ready for another possible wave of the virus in the spring.
“All the factors are there to potentially cause another outbreak,” said Spencer Cathy, WEDCO director of administrative services and the acting public health director.
WEDCO clinic nurse administrator Deena Moreland said the district has been told to expect an increase in H1N1 cases toward the end of February and the beginning of March.
