Formal sentencing will be held Tuesday, Feb. 21, for Andrew Hill, who changed his plea in Harrison District Court last week, prior to the Feb. 16 and 17 scheduled trial.
Hill, 20, pleaded guilty to 15 criminal counts related to an officer-involved shooting, which occurred on April 5, 2011.
The commonwealth attorney recommended a total of 11 years in jail on the charges including: three counts of first degree assault, 10 counts of first degree wanton endangerment, one count of resisting arrest and one of receiving stolen property (firearm).
