A Cynthiana man first indicted in federal court on a theft charge has entered a guilty plea.
Jonathan Wayne Moore was indicted in July in Lexington on a charge of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
Last week, Moore entered a guilty plea to the charge and was recommended to serve a 15-year sentence, according to Cpl. Walter Tapp who first charged Moore.
Moore was arrested on May 21, just minutes after he entered Cynthiana Jewelry and Pawn Shop on Church Street and fled the store with a .38 pistol.
