Grapplers finish 2nd in HCIWT

The host Harrison County Thorobreds went 4-1 on the day and finished second overall in the annual Harrison County Invitational Wrestling Tournament on Dec. 27 at Harrison County Middle School gymnasium.

The Breds registered wins in the dual meet format against Ashland Blazer, Danville, Dixie Heights and Montgomery County, and lost to eventual champion Seneca.

Seneca went undefeated in its five matches. Seneca and Harrison County both had five wrestlers who won their respective weight classes.
