Two men were indicted by the new Harrison County grand jury on Tuesday.
Jeffrey Streitenberger, 38, was indicted on a charge of first degree trafficking in a controlled substance (heroin, methamphetamine, morphine) first offense.
According to the grand jury indictment, Streitenberger possessed a controlled substance mixture of heroin, meth and morphine, and had intent to transfer the substance to another person.
Cynthiana Ptl. Jeff Thomas is the investigating officer.
Streitenberger’s bond was set at $5,000.
The grand jury also indicted Francisco Bravo, 26, on charges on alcohol intoxication in a public place and second degree wanton endangerment.
According to the indictment, on Sept. 7, Bravo is accused of being manifestly under the influence of alcohol and that he may have endangered himself or other persons, property or unreasonably annoyed persons in his vicinity.
He is also accused of conduct that created substantial danger to others.
The grand jury also issued a no true bill on a receiving stolen property (firearm) charge that was made against Bravo.
No true bill means that the charge is dismissed without prejudice.
