Grand jury hands down eight indictments

Six out of eight indictments returned by the Harrison County grand jury on Tuesday will be referred to circuit court. The remaining two will be heard in district court.
Matthew Stacey, 23, faces  two indictments totaling four felony counts.
Stacey is alleged to have trafficked in heroin, two grams or more, and Oxycodone, less than 10 dosage units, while in the possession of a handgun. He is also charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felony and with being a persistent felony offender.
