Golfers have matches with Nicholas, Pendleton counties

Last Thursday, the junior varsity, the middle school and the Fillies golf teams traveled to the Carnico Country Club to face the Nicholas County Bluejacket squads. 

The boys’ JV took the victory by a 30-stroke margin as they defeated Nicholas County 152 to 182. Jake Jones was rewarded for the hard work that he did last summer as he was the medalist for the day with a score of 44. 

Zach Hernandez added a 52 and Peyton Browning a 54 for the Breds’ JV. Chris George led Nicholas with a 49.
