Furnish-Henson exchange vows

Kendall Denise Furnish, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Furnish of Cynthiana, and Joseph Ivan Henson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Henson of Cynthiana, were united in holy matrimony at the Cathedral of Christ the King in Lexington on June 25, 2011, at 2:30 p.m. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Gino Donatelli.
The bride is the granddaughter of the late Dennis and Alberta Tussey, Nancy Furnish and the late Wilson Furnish of Cynthiana.
The groom is the grandson of the late George and Betty Henson of Cynthiana, and Ivan and Phyllis White of Cincinnati, Ohio.
The maid of honor was Sara Henderson, Lexington; matron of honor was Tara Sienkiewicz, cousin of the bride, Lexington. Bridesmaids were Devin Hendricks, Lexington; Michelle Allen, Versailles; Megan McIlvain, Jennifer Gossett and Katie Furnish, of Cynthiana. The flower girl was Karley Furnish, cousin of the bride.
Best man was Jonathan Henson, brother of the groom, Huntington, W.Va. Groomsmen were Ryan Fischer, Denver Colo.; Dustin Chamberlin, Lincoln Hendricks, and Jared Frey, Lexington; Ben Furnish and Blake Bishop, Cynthiana. Serving as ushers were Josh Renaker, Henderson, Ky.; Chase Riddle Lexington, Tim Summers Troy, Ohio, and Brad Wissing Louisville. The ring bearer was Calvin Heimlich, cousin of the bride, and honorary ring bearer was Bradford Furnish, nephew of the bride.
Music was provided by the Cathedral Organist Brian Hunt, Trumpeter Paul Hickner, and Cantor Lauren Power. Eucharistic gifts were presented by Mr. and Mrs. Garnett Furnish, couples god parents. Lectors were Samantha Diedrichs, Kim Furnish, and Clint Bishop. Acolytes were Kyle Barnes, Clay Furnish, Jakob Furnish, and Drew Furnish.
Guest book and program attendants were Mary Grace Furnish and Annie Furnish. The wedding coordinator was Resa Wright Browning, a friend of the bride and grooms family. Following the ceremony, a wine pass and dinner buffet was held at the Carrick House.
The bride is a graduate of Harrison County High School and the University of Kentucky. She received a BS in Agricultural Economics and was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. The bride is employed by Cherntura AgroSolutions.
The groom is a graduate of Harrison County High School and Eastern Kentucky University. He received a BA in Finance and was a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity and is employed by Pella Corporation.
After a wedding trip to Hawaii, they now reside in Lexington, Ky.
