A Harrison County fourth grader, Trent Fry, was among the 12 students selected from across the state to display their agriculture science projects at this week’s Kentucky Farm Bureau annual meeting in Louisville.
Fry is a student at Southside Elementary. He displayed his project, “Fertilizer: Friend or Foe,” to determine which kind of fertilizer best enhances a plant’s growth.
Each winning project was awarded $75.00 and a certificate of recognition for their participation at the state level.
