The Harrison County freshman team finished its regular season with a 2-4 record as dropping a hard-fought 12-6 verdict to Fleming County Monday night in Ingles Stadium.
Fleming County held a 12-0 half time lead but a 3-yard run by Tyler White made in 12-6 after the two-point conversion failed.
The young Thorobreds made several valiant efforts to score throughout the game, but fell in the end to the Panthers.
The CKC playoffs are next for the freshmen and a rematch with Fleming County seems to be the most likely scenario.
