Free tax preparation for eligible families available

Free tax preparation volunteers to help families file taxes and claim the EITC at the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library.

The Kentucky Asset Success Initiative (KASI) will be operating a free tax preparation site at the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library on Feb. 2 and 22. KASI is a coalition of agencies and organizations seeking to empower low- and moderate-income Kentuckians through a variety of asset-building programs.  Families with a household income less than $49,000 are eligible for the free tax preparation service.
