Jennifer Hatfield, Ph.D., who began her teaching career in 2003 at Harrison County High School, was recently named Health Educator-College/University Teacher of the Year for going above and beyond her regular classroom duties.
Hatfield is now assistant professor of wellness at Union College.
The award, presented by the Kentucky Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, is given to a current professor and association member who teaches health classes in a university or college setting.
