While the world lost the “King of Pop” last Thursday, Peggy Rogers lost an acquaintance.
“The thing about Michael I remember the most is his sweetness,” Rogers said Monday morning.
A concert promoter for Dick Clark, Rogers was responsible for filling the 10,000 concert seats for various vocal groups, including the Jackson Five.
“We had an exclusive on the Jacksons and we were doing all their shows,” Rogers said.
At the time, Michael was 12 years old.
