Football Breds perform well in passing league games in Pendleton Co.

-A A +A
By Mike Aldridge

Despite the weather and two inexperienced quarterbacks, the Harrison County Thorobreds did better than expected in the passing league games on Pendleton County’s field Friday night.
Harrison County defeated the home team and Bracken County while dropping the match with Holy Cross of Covington.
“Our quarterbacks performed well for their first time playing the position,” noted Coach Jim Carr. “Senior Mark Taylor and sophomore Luke Slucher each threw for three or four touchdowns and freshman Ben VanHook also did well.”
