The Harrison County Fiscal Court approved the release of $60,000 in budgeted money to help fund the Welding Lab project.
Barnett also informed magistrates that plans for the welding lab changed from a vision of a separate building at the industrial park to extensive renovations at the existing Harrison County Area Technology Center.
At the regular meeting of the fiscal court Tuesday evening, Harrison County Judge Executive Alex Barnett said that he and Magistrate Frank Henson attended a meeting of all the organizations involved in the Welding Lab project.
