-A A +A
By Mike Aldridge

So much for the Fillies five-game losing streak coming into the district tournament.
The Harrison County squad shook off the doldrums of the streak with an 11-2 whipping of Nicholas County Tuesday night on Shirley Field.
Both teams will advance to next week’s regional play to be held at Scott High School.
Harrison County scored in five of six innings. They struck two Nicholas County pitchers for 11 hits to score the 11 runs.
