Over the weekend, the Harrison County Fillies (8-5) traveled to Covington to play in the Bulldog Bash hosted by the Covington Holmes Lady Bulldogs. The Fillies got out of the gates a little slow, suffering a 12-2 loss in their first game Friday night against the Conner Lady Cougars (9-3).
The Fillies got back on track, however, in their second Friday game, taking a 3-1 win over the Highlands Bluebirds (5-6). Harrison Countys winning ways continued in the early game on Saturday, with the Fillies taking a second consecutive victory over the Covington Notre Dame Academy Pandas (6-6).
The Fillies finished the tournament with a loss at the hands of the host Lady Bulldogs (4-8) by a 7-4 score.
On Monday, the Fillies played host to a regional foe in the Bourbon County Lady Colonels (8-4) and squeaked away with a 5-4 win.
The Fillies are currently 3-3 in the 10th Region and 1-0 in the 38th District.
