Harrison County’s Fillies played perhaps their best game of the year Friday night, but came away on the short end of the score at Campbell County.
The Lady Camels, who are thought to be a top four team in the region, could never pull away and edged the Fillies 63-55.
Harrison County trailed by six at the end of the first period but a balanced attack for the most part brought the Fillies back in the second. At the half, the game was knotted at 23.
The game was tight throughout the second half as the Fillies scrapped and fought hard the entire game.
