Fillies soar over Lady Eagles

The hits just keep on coming for the Harrison County Fillies (5-3) varsity softball team. After a disappointing performance in a 7-0 loss to the George Rogers Clark Lady Cardinals (14-4) last Thursday, the Fillies have reeled off 31 hits over the last two games to take victories over the Mason County Lady Royals (4-4) on Monday and the Lexington Christian Academy Lady Eagles (0-8) on Tuesday.

Against the Lady Royals in Maysville, the Fillies connected on 19 hits as senior pitcher Megan Bullock recorded the win in a 14-1 decision that ended in six innings.
