Fillies season ended by Lady Royals

The 2007-2008 basketball season came to an end for the Harrison County Fillies (16-14) on Sunday in the semi-final round of the girls 10th Region tournament at Campbell County Middle School in Alexandria. The Mason County Lady Royals (24-8) used a 16-4 run over the last five minutes of play to advance over the Fillies, 60-47.

On Feb. 15, the two teams met on the Hilltop and Mason County claimed a 65-43 win over the home-standing Fillies.

Mason County led in Sundays contest for much of the first half, with the score being 12-10 in their favor after one quarter.
