The Harrison County Fillies soccer team got outstanding performances from Kassy Barnett and Courtney Grannis and overwhelmed home-standing Mason County on Tuesday night, 8-0.
The win was Harrison County’s third in a row and improved their season record to 4-1.
Barnett scored a career-high four goals in the win and Grannis contributed with a school-record five assists.
“I really like the teamwork we are showing right now and the unselfish play,” said Fillies coach Kim Jenkins after the game on Tuesday. “I really don’t think the girls care who scores the goals as long as the team plays well and succeeds.”
