The Harrison County Fillies (8-6) returned to action on the Hilltop for the first time since Dec. 10 last Thursday when they played host to the Bracken County Lady Bears (6-7). The homecoming was good for the Fillies, who won the game 65-45.
The Fillies capitalized on an impressive first quarter to take control of the game. The defense held Bracken County to just seven points while scoring 21 on the offensive end of the floor.
The Lady Bears outscored the Fillies 11-9 in the second quarter to make the halftime score a 30-18 advantage for Harrison County.
