Basketball’s regular season is fast approaching and the Harrison County Fillies are working hard to prepare.
The young Harrison County girls traveled to Scott County Saturday to face the Lady Jags of East Jessamine in a scrimmage-formatted game.
The junior varsity Fillies played two 10-minute halves with a continuous clock, which barely allowed for any basketball to be played.
The final score was 13-10 in favor of East Jessamine in the abbreviated contest.
Kassidy Cook led Harrison County with six points.
