Fillies come up just short against Paris

The Paris Lady Hounds (16-7) came to the Hilltop on Friday, Feb. 8, and held on to defeat the Harrison County Fillies (11-12) 35-33.

The first half of the game was an offensive nightmare for the Fillies, who were unable to put their first points on the scoreboard until there was just 4:08 left in the second quarter.

Fortunately for Harrison County, the Lady Hounds had problems of their own putting points on the scoreboard and the score was just 6-0 after the first quarter. In the second quarter, the Fillies were out-scored 11-9 and trailed 17-9 at the halftime break.
