FBLA receives awards at state conference

On March 7 the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) 20 members from Harrison County ATC traveled to Northern Kentucky University to compete at the Region 4 FBLA Conference.  Students competed in events, made new friends and attended the talent show.
Local winners were:  Gabrielle Richie, first in Business Law; Jacob Marsh, first in Economics; Josh Godman, first in Help Desk; Quinne Moore, Abbey Hehr, and Samantha Adkins first in Local Chapter Scrapbook; Erin Bradford, first in Public Speaking I; Shawn Ravenscraft, first in Ann Visnic Scholarship; Jacob Marsh second in American Enterprise Project; Kaitlyn Swinford, second in Hospitality Management; Abbey Hehr and Whitney Gaunce, second in Local Chapter Newsletter; Abbey Hehr, third in Community Service Project; Whitney Gaunce, third in Health Care Management; Samantha Adkins, third in Local Chapter Annual Business Report; Ally Barnett was a finalist in Job Interview. Abbey Hehr was also nominated for Region 4 Who’s Who in Kentucky FBLA.  
These winners will compete April 23-25 in Louisville at the State FBLA Conference. First and second place state winners will be eligible to travel to San Antonio, Texas, to attend the National FBLA Conference. Advisers are Louise Jackson and Sean Murphy.
