While most mothers spend months preparing for the arrival of a baby, Angel Wagoner had only four weeks to gather the necessities for a baby girl.

During a hysterectomy pre-op appointment, Angel found out she was pregnant - 36 weeks pregnant.

“How in the world could I not know I was pregnant?” Angel said at her home Monday morning.

In her arms, Angel held her seven-month-old daughter Hannah.

In a purple outfit with a matching bow atop her head, Hannah mostly smiles.

“She sleeps all night... she doesn’t cry,” Tim Wagoner said about his daughter. “...She knows she put Angel through enough before she was born...”

The Wagoners’ recently shared their story with the Discovery Health Channel.

Tim and Angel’s unexpected pregnancy will be featured on the pilot episode of the second season of the show ‘I Was Pregnant and Didn’t Know It.’

“You know, I think I’m going to e-mail our story,” Tim said he told his wife one night.

Angel had seen similar shows weeks before she discovered she was pregnant.

“What kind of women don’t know they’re pregnant?” Angel said she had told a friend.

The side effects of pregnancy weren’t new to Angel.

Tim and Angel have a five-year-old son named Hunter.
