The Fab Four are back. Yes, Eight Days a Week, a Beatles Tribute Band from Cincinnati returns to Cynthiana this Saturday, Dec 6, at 7 p.m., with their fabulous reenactment of Beatles music.
Eight Days played the Rohs Opera House last December to over 200 attendees. This year looks to be even bigger with ticket sales beginning over a month ago.
“They’re incredible,” Roger Slade of Rohs Opera House said. “They look like the Beatles, play like the Beatles, sound like the Beatles…”
Lovers of Beatles music will want to be in downtown Cynthiana this Saturday after the Christmas parade.
“This band has played in Las Vegas,” James Smith, also of the Rohs added. “We’re preparing for a big turnout. It’s not everyday a band of this caliber comes to our town.”
Folks who have heard the group perform are enthusiastic about how they truly capture the excitement, high energy and the feeling of the Fab Four. They perform in multiple authentic costumes and play on vintage instruments. Among the songs the group will probably play will be: “A Hard’s Day Night,” “All My Loving,” “All You Need is Love,” “Do You Want to Know a Secret?,” “Eight Days a Week,” “I Want to Hold Your Hand,” “Love Me Do,” “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds,” and “Yesterday.”
The community is encouraged to come out to the Rohs Opera House on Saturday to experience a dose of Beatlemania. Tickets are on sale now and can be reserved by calling 859-913-3174. There will be preferred seating (first three rows), general admission, and balcony seating for $15, $12, and $10.
