A Brown Ambulance Service driver continues to recover at home following a collision last Thursday night in Lexington.

April Claypool, 22, was driving the Harrison County ambulance carrying a patient around 11 p.m., when a white 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier, driven by Charles Brown, 30, of Versailles, hit the passenger side of the ambulance at the intersection of Broadway and New Circle Road in Lexington.

According to Lexington-Police Public Information Officer Sherell Roberts, Brown told police he did not see or hear the ambulance.
