To the editor:
On Saturday morning, Sept. 11, I found myself in need of the very same emergency workers I had read about in the special tribute section of The Cynthiana Democrat. After a collision on Ky 32 West, I was given excellent attention by the emergency teams who arrived quickly and resonded with care, knowledge and a reassuring manner. A special thank you to Bryan and Charley, who took care of me and transported me to Harrison Memorial, where I was treated quickly and professionally. Thanks also to Cynthiana police officer Sgt. Wilbur Gross, who was in charge of the investigation into the accident, to the ladies who stopped to make sure that the driver of the other car and I were not alone until help arrived and to family and friends.
We all know an accident can happen in the blink of an eye, and we are blessed to have these emergency services in our county, and to have people who will stop and lend a helping hand.
