Pierce seeks reelection as Dist. 5 magistrate

District 5 incumbent Sam Pierce will be seeking reelection as the Republican nominee on the Harrison County Fiscal Court.
Pierce is a 1966 graduate of Harrison County High School and graduated, with honors, from Centre College in 1970. He received his graduate degree from Auburn University in 1974.
Pierce had a career teaching history and government at Southern Union Community College in Alabama and also served 16 years as a county commissioner while living in Auburn, Ala. After retiring, Pierce moved home, to Harrison County, in 2008.
