For the second time this season, the Harrison County Thorobreds allowed a lead to slip away and suffered defeat.
On Friday night at the Harrison County Athletic Complex, Harrison County jumped to an early 18-0 lead, then saw visiting Scott High rattle off 21 straight points to take the lead.
After Harrison County scored again, the Eagles came back with 15 more points and eventually won, 36-30.
“I think we are all disappointed in how the game ended,” said HCHS Head Coach Mark Carroll. “We had a lot of little breakdowns here and there, but the thing that really bothered me was the lack of effort we showed at times. That is something that will be addressed and will be addressed quickly.”
