A Harrison County man is behind bars after leading sheriff’s deputies on a Friday evening chase.
Harrison County Sheriff’s Deputy Steve McCauley said Friday’s chain of events began when dispatch received a 5:12 p.m. call about a hit and run accident at the intersection of US 62 West and Smith-Martin Lane.
Charles Brooks, 32, was traveling westbound on Wornall Lane, when he allegedly crossed US 62 West, hitting a 1992 Saturn, driven by Juan Hernandez, 32.
