The Harrison County Democratic Woman’s Club met Aug. 27 at The Vault. Michelle Barnett, president, presided. The meeting featured the annual auction with Robert, Sue and Katherine Lake auctioning the crafts with the proceeds to be used for a scholarship for a student at Harrison County High School.
Sue McKee led in the Pledge of Allegiance. The invocation was given by Marilynn Bell.
It was announced that Virgie Florence Wells will be the honoree at the Jefferson-Jackson Dinner at the Cynthiana Christian Church on Monday, Oct. 22 at 5:30 p.m.
