Preceptor Omega Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi met at the home of Charlene Dawson on Oct. 1. Nine members were in attendance with two absent.
Cindy Warr was a guest speaker. She is a development director for Refuge for Women. This is a faith-based organization that helps women leave the sex industry. Harrison County will be opening a shelter for the organization by the end of the year. Aimee Davis accompanied Warr and is a member of Xi Delta Pi chapter and introduced Warr.
