During the opening two quarters of the Monday night 38th District battle between Pendleton County and Harrison County, it looked like another typical rock’em sock’em game with the last one standing the winner.
But Harrison County came out in the second half playing an in-your-face defense that shut down the Wildcats and sent the Thorobreds to the championship game Friday with a 59-40 win under their belts.
The game was played with a lot of energy and contact as one would think a game with 14 seniors involved would be.
