A former University of Kentucky basketball player has been indicted in Harrison County on allegations that he sold bogus tickets to a local fan.
The indictment alleges that Edward Davender, 43, Georgetown, sold the fraudulent tickets in May, June and August of 2004 to Dustin Rose. Davender is charged with three counts of theft by deception over $300 on each charge.
“He was one of my heros when I was kid,” Rose said Wednesday morning.
