Case reports

Oct. 27 – At 2:36 p.m., police investigated a fight at the high school involving juveniles.

Oct. 28 – At 12:37 p.m., Elizabeth Hall reported that someone used her debit card information to transfer nearly $1,000 to accounts out of state.

Oct. 29 – At 12:15 p.m., police investigated a report of animal neglect on Pleasant Street. Animal control determined that the animal was being treated by a veterinarian for an intestinal disorder and neglect was unsubstantiated.

Oct. 28 – At 6:54 p.m., police were called to Wal-Mart where two individuals were accused of shoplifting liquor.

Oct. 28 – At 4:15 p.m., Tyler Moore reported that his mini-chopper was taken from his yard sometime on Tuesday, Oct. 28.

Oct. 31 – At 12:43 a.m., policed investigated a violation of domestic violence order on Cherokee Drive.

Oct. 31 – At 5:44 p.m., police investigated a fight between two women on Federal Drive.

Nov. 3 – At 7:55 p.m., a woman reported that her juvenile daughter had contact with an adult male that she had been advised to stay away from by police.

Nov. 1 – At 1:26 a.m., police investigated a report of domestic violence on Poplar Street. Police arrested Charles Wilds charging him with fourth degree assault, domestic violence.

Nov. 1 – At 10:53 p.m., police were called to an alleged assault that occurred on Locust Street.

Nov. 2 – At 12:57 a.m., Kerrie Alvarez reported that someone had egged her home and had tried to pull out the heating unit.

Nov. 2 – At 10:53 a.m., police were called to Meadow Lane where a woman reported that her ex-boyfriend had been making threats against her.

Nov. 2 – At 4:11 p.m., Ginny Perraut, Broadway, reported that someone broke the storm window and a double-pane window from the rear bedroom of her home.

Oct. 31 – At 4 p.m., Johnny Gifford, Mayslick, reported that someone had stolen some checks and passed them at Kentucky Bank for $600.

Nov. 5 – At 7:42 a.m., police were called to Ashbrook Court where a man was reported to have a gun. The man was taken to Stoner Creek, but told police before he left that $480 had been taken from his pants by her granddaughter’s boyfriend and that he got the gun to question him about the missing money.

Nov. 3 – At 11:04 a.m., police were called to Spruce Drive where a woman was allegedly making threats against her child’s stepmother.

Nov. 3 – At 2 p.m., Barbara Livesay reported that the garage behind her Main Street home had been damaged and that she could not get inside.

Nov. 4 – At 9:57 a.m., police were called to Cynthiana Jewelry and Pawn to investigate a theft.

Nov. 4 – At 10:22 a.m., Laura Simpson reported that while she was a patient at Harrison Memorial Hospital someone took four rings, valued at $8,400, from her hospital room.

Nov. 4 – At 6:30 p.m., Devin Keefer Jr., Falmouth, reportedly feel into a drain hole between Wal-Mart and the Dollar General Store. He was taken to Harrison Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the fall.

Nov. 5 – At 11:23 a.m., police investigated a domestic situation on Midnight Court.

Nov. 5 – At 5:10 p.m., a woman reported that her grandson was beat up by two juveniles, who allegedly used a tree limb to hit the other boy.

Nov. 5 – At 7:49 p.m., Mitzi Enlow, Shawnee Drive, reported that five CDs were taken from her locked apartment.

Nov. 6 – At 7:08 a.m., Larry Poynter reported that 12 vehicles in the Spruce Drive area had tires punctured overnight and one vehicle had the oil plug removed. Darlene Poynter reported that they had also been threatened by an individual.

Nov. 6 – At 7:37 a.m., police were called to Landmark Stone where an individual had come and allegedly made threats against an employee.

Nov. 6 – At 7:08 a.m., Larry Dennis, Spruce Drive, reported that someone punctured one of his tires during the overnight.

Nov. 6 – At 11:50 a.m., Sammi Ruth reported that the man she had been living with left her and took some of her cash, WIC coupons and vitamins.

Nov. 6 – At 3:15 p.m., James Bowles, Church Street, reported that a video surveillance camera had been stolen from his residence.

Nov. 7 – At 8:10 a.m., police were called on a death investigation. No foul play was suspected.

Nov. 7 – At 6:39 p.m., police investigated a report of bullying at a residence on Newsome Avenue.

Nov. 8 – At 7:25 p.m., a Spruce Drive woman reported that she was continuing to be harassed by her husband’s ex-wife.

Nov. 9 – At 12:05 a.m., Sgt. Eric Kendall attempted to make a traffic stop on Daniel Baron who allegedly ran from police in his vehicle and then on foot. According to the report, Baron allegedly nearly struck Ptl. Brian Hassall during his attempt to elude. He was tased, arrested and charged with failure to wear seat belts, disregarding stop signs, reckless driving, fleeing and evading police (vehicle), fleeing and evading police (on foot), wanton endangerment first, resisting arrest, DUI third, driving on DUI suspended second, failure to produce insurance card and disorderly conduct second.

Nov. 9 – At 5:03 a.m., police investigated an alleged domestic violence on Spruce Drive.

Nov. 11 – At 2:30 p.m., Robert Fryman, Clifton Village, reported minor damage to his vehicle while it was parked at his residence.

Nov. 11 – At 2:20 p.m., Nancy Neuspickel, Mudlick Pike, reported that $170 had been taken from her purse while it was locked in the manager’s office at Speedway.

Nov. 11 – At 4:43 p.m., police arrested Linda S. Harwood and charged her with possession of marijuana.

Nov. 12 – At 10:14 p.m., police investigated a report of harassment on Cherokee Drive.

Nov. 13 – At 8:15 a.m., police took a report that a garbage truck backed up and struck a cable television line and pulled it down.

Arrests, warnings, citations

Oct. 30 -- Roberto Martinez, 35, was arrested and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place and drinking alcoholic beverage in a public place.

Oct. 30 -- Harry W.  Clark, 39, was arrested on Walnut Street and charged with disorderly conduct.

Oct. 30 -- Carmen Ayala, 24, was cited on New Lair Road at Webster Avenue, license to be in possession, failure of owner to maintain required insurance, rear license not illuminated.

Oct. 31 -- Larkin L. Price Jr., 54, was cited on U.S. 27 South for improper parking on fire lane/blocking traveled portion of highway and possession of open beverage container in motor vehicle.

Oct. 31 -- Ryan Bennett, 22, was cited on Pleasant at Church Street for license to be in possession, no registration receipt and failure to wear seat belts.

Oct. 31 -- Frank Schooley, 46, was cited for speeding on U.S. 27 North at Church Street.

Nov. 1 -- Gilbert C. Clark, 47, was arrested on South Walnut Street and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place.

Nov. 1 -- Charles R. Wilds, 23, was arrested on Poplar Street and charged with fourth degree assault, domestic violence, minor injury.

Nov. 2 -- Tarin J. Johnson, 18, was arrested on Battle Grove Avenue on a violation of a Kentucky EPO.

Nov. 5 -- Joseph A. Fryman, 19, was arrested on U.S. 27 South on a bench warrant for probation violation.

Nov. 6 -- Mark A. Hart, no age listed, was issued a warning at Bridge and Main streets for disregarding traffic light.

Nov. 6 -- Brian P. Fryman, 24, was arrested on Main Street on a bench warrant for failure to appear.

Nov. 6 -- William D. Burgess, 44, was arrested on Locust Street and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place.

Nov. 6 -- Robert W. Browning, 35, was cited for speeding on Water Works Road.

Nov. 7 -- Justin C. Maybrier, no age listed, was issued a warning for defective silencer on Oddville at Miller.

Nov. 7 -- Anna Kelly, no age listed, was issued a warning for having an expired tag on Locust at Pleasant.

Nov. 8 -- Betty H. Barker, no age listed, was issued a warning for speeding on Bridge at Walnut streets.

Nov. 8 -- Randall E. Pinson, 33, was issued a warning for speeding on U.S. 27 South.

Nov. 8 -- Kelly McIlvain, 50, was issued a warning for speeding on U.S. 27 South.

Nov. 8 -- Charles C. Helton, 52, was issued a warning for failure to come to a complete stop on Delta at Riggs.

Nov. 8 -- Andrew W. Northcutt, 20, was cited for failure to produce insurance card and vehicle a nuisance, noisy, etc. on U.S. 27 South.

Nov. 8 -- Glen E. Neace, 32, was cited for speeding on U.S. 27 South.

Nov. 8 -- Matthew L. King, 27, was cited on U.S. 27 South for speeding.

Nov. 8 -- Amanda G. Ballard, 20, was cited on Oddville at Vine Street for rear license not illuminated.

Nov. 8 -- Dennis K. Adams, 50, was cited for speeding on Water Works Road.

Nov. 8 -- Steven T. Russell, 19, was arrested on Main Street on a bench warrant for possession of a forged instrument.

Nov. 8 -- Adam R. Knipper, 24, was arrested on U.S. 27 South on a bench warrant for theft by unlawful taking, shoplifting.

Nov. 8 -- Antonio Parra, 27, was arrested and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place on Walnut Street.

Nov. 9 -- Daniel Baron, 26, was arrested on Walnut Street and charged with wanton endangerment, failure to wear seat belts, disregarding stop sign, reckless driving, resisting arrest, operating motor vehicle under influence of alcohol/drugs aggravated circumstances, driving on a DUI-suspended license, fleeing or evading police, fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle), fleeing or evading police, failure to produce insurance card, disorderly conduct.

Nov. 9 -- Jeremy  Garrison, 19, was cited for disregarding stop sign and failure to produce insurance card.

Nov. 11 -- Linda S. Harwood, 20, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana on Old Lair Road.

Nov. 12 -- Mose Cundiff, 29, was arrested on KY 36 East on a bench warrant for failure to appear.

Nov. 13 -- Chastity Lonaker, 20, was arrested on U.S. 27 South and charged with theft by unlawful taking on U.S. 27 South.

Nov. 13 -- Phillip A. Doolin, 48, was arrested at the MSP lot and charged with operating motor vehicle under influence of alcohol/drugs/etc., and disregarding traffic control device.

Nov. 13 -- Charles C. Helton, 52, was cited on Bridge Street at Walnut Street for disregarding stop sign and no registration receipt.

Nov. 14 -- Pattirose S. Fairbanks, 57, was cited at Bridge and Main for having no registration plate.
