Case reports

Nov. 12 -- At 12:45 p.m., Karen Beagle, Main Street, reported that she had several checks stolen from her home and used for purchases in Cynthiana.

Nov. 14 -- At 12:56 p.m., Sonja Brinkmeyer, Church Street, reported that her home had been burglarized and a Play Station 360, engagement ring and two belly button rings were taken.

Nov. 13 -- At 7:29 p.m., Harmon Shelton III reported that he lost $400, possibly at Speedway. He told police he had the money in his lap and when he got out of his vehicle he believes the money fell to the ground and was later picked up.

Nov. 14 -- At 2:01 p.m., police were notified of a domestic assault that allegedly occurred during the night on Cromwell Alley. The victim initially told hospital and state police that her nose was broken during a bar fight in Lexington. However, she now wishes to file a complaint against the alleged suspect that, she said, broke her nose during a domestic dispute.

Nov. 16 -- At 6:46 p.m., a report of shoplifting was made from Walmart. Police arrested Beverly Comley charging her with shoplifting.

Arrests, citations, warnings

Nov. 14 -- Brent Beagle, 18, was cited on Oddville Avenue for speeding.

Nov. 14 -- Ronnie Small Jr., 23, was cited on Main Street for failure to wear seat belts and speeding.

Nov. 14 -- April D. Caskey, 29, was arrested on Pike Street and charged with criminal mischief, disregarding traffic control light, disregarding stop sign, fleeing or evading police and wanton endangerment of police officer.

Nov. 14 -- Obie D. Roberts, 54, was arrested on Pleasant Street and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place and disorderly conduct.

Nov. 15 -- Dustin L. Wagoner, 20, was cited on Pleasant Street for no registration plates.

Nov. 16 -- Brancel E. Gallagher, 50, was arrested on KY 36 East on a warrant for criminal mischief, wanton endangerment and operating a motor vehicle under influence of alcohol/drugs/etc. with aggravated circumstances.

Nov. 16 -- Beverly L. Comley, 49, was arrested at Walmart and charged with theft by unlawful taking, shoplifting.

Nov. 17 -- Rebecca Sturgil, 27, was cited on Bridge Street for improper registration plates and license to be in possession.

Nov. 18 -- Lisa A. Underwood, 41, was arrested at HMH on a warrant for failure to appear.

Nov. 18 -- Michael D. Fowler, 35, was arrested on Old Lair Road and charged with fourth degree assault, domestic violence,  minor injury.

Nov. 19 -- Amber N. Cooper, 23, was arrested on Southgate Drive on a warrant for owner to maintain required insurance.

Nov. 19 -- Carmen Ayala, 25, was arrested at 305 Church St. and charged with theft by unlawful taking, shoplifting.
