Dec. 3 – At 8:20 a.m., Brenda McMann reported that she had received harassing phone calls in the middle of the night.

Dec. 5 – At 12:22 a.m., police were called to Hillside Apartments for a hit and run accident. Charlotte Lail reported seeing a car back into her vehicle and got a license number. Police confronted the driver that allegedly drove away. He had no insurance and his vehicle was towed away.

Dec. 5 – At 2:30 a.m., Rebecca Boone, Plum Court, reported that her son’s Blackjack2 cellphone was taken from their home.

Dec. 5 – At 8:59 p.m., police arrested Justin F. Kearns at his residence on Oddville Avenue charging him with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dec. 5 – At 8:59 p.m., police arrested Robert N. Barkley on Oddville Avenue charging him with third degree terroristic threatening.

Dec. 5 – At 11:45 a.m., while in custody, Robert Barkley allegedly made threats against several police officers and damaged legcuffs. He was charged with criminal mischief and terroristic threatening.

Dec. 7 – At 4:04 a.m., police were called to Locust Street on a domestic dispute call. The alleged victim denied that she had been struck by her boyfriend.

Dec. 7 – At 7:11 a.m., police were called to U.S. 27 South, Walmart, where a theft was in progress. Police arrested William Bevins, who is also suspected of taking 33 propane tanks from Walmart earlier the same date.  Bevins was charged with theft by unlawful taking.

Dec. 9 – At 11:31 a.m., Ryan Barkley, Second Street, reported that someone took a Smith and Wesson 9 mm from his vehicle where it was locked and parked in front of his home.

Dec. 9 – At 3:18 p.m., police were called to Cash Express where an altercation was occurred between Natasha Mitchell and Briana Beagle. The two were separated. At 3:58 p.m., police were called to Lee’s Restaurant where Beagle is employed. According to the report, Leontine Williams arrived at the restaurant and she and Beagle allegedly got into a physical altercation.
