CYNTHIANA POLICE REPORT

Case reports

July 24 – At 6:29 p.m., Debbie Eubanks reported that someone took a bag of her son’s clothes while they were locked in her vehicle, which was parked at Walmart.

July 25 – At 5:31 a.m., Kevin Henry, Walnut Street, reported that someone broke the windshield in his vehicle and ran a key down the paint.

July 25 – At 9:45 p.m., a beige sport utility vehicle pulled into the Bridge Street BP and the driver pumped $30.06 worth of gasoline and drove off without paying.

July 26 – At 3:20 p.m., Georgia Knippenberg, Paris, reported that she had property at a residence where she used to live that her ex-boyfriend would not let her get.

July 26 – At 6:48 p.m., Josh Stull, Newsome Avenue, reported that his bicycle was stolen while it was parked outside of the Cynthiana-Harrison County Public Library.

July 27 – At 2:45 p.m., Harry Stroub, Robynwood Drive, reported that someone took his wallet from his vehicle.

July 27 – At 3:40 p.m., Misty Blackaby and Chastity Fryman reported receiving harassing test messages on their cell phones.

July  28 – At 6:25 p.m., Robbie Williams reported that tools had been taken and were now at a residence on Water Street. The total of missing tools amounted to $1,692.

July 29 – At 1:17 p.m., Bob Henry, Walnut Street, reported that his debit card had been stolen and had been used for cash withdrawals amounting to over $500.

July 29 –  At 3:17 p.m., utility lines were torn down by a semi-truck on Third Street.

July 29 – At 9:38 p.m., a report of alleged bullying was made by a woman and her juvenile child.

July 30 – At 1:21 p.m., Laura Arnold reported that someone entered a 1994 Jeep Cherokee while it was parked at EJ Auto on Ky. 356 and removed two Harley Davidson floor mats and a Pioneer CD player.

July 30 – At 1:57 p.m., a report of stolen medication was made by a Maple Street resident.

July 30 –  Teresa Price reported that her debit card and two checks had been stolen.

July 30 – At  4:40 p.m., Kimberly Shanks, Poplar Street,  reported that two televisions were taken from her apartment.

July 31 – At 4:21 p.m., police investigated a shooting that had occurred on Confederate Drive. Sandy Southwood allegedly shot her ex-husband’s fiance, Amber Florence, in the leg.

July 31 – At 10:50 p.m., Gary Riddell, Elmarch, reported that someone stole a handgun from his home.

July 31 – At 11 p.m., a Cladorbon woman reported that someone attempted to get into her home on two occasions.

July 31 – At 8:50 p.m., police investigated a report of child custody issues.

Aug. 1 – At 12:33 a.m., police were called to a domestic situation on Pearl Street.

Aug. 1 – At 4:46 p.m., Jacquiline Stone, Federal Drive, reported that someone stole money from her living room.

Aug. 1 – At 11:10 p.m., police arrested Michelle Glass on charges of prescription drugs not in proper containers.

Aug. 2 – At 7:26 p.m., Shelton Dahmer, Old Lair Road, reported that a bush at his drive had been run over by a truck.

Aug. 3 – At 12:40 a.m., police investigated an alleged assault that occurred on Pleasant Street.

Aug. 3 – At 11 p.m., police were called to Walmart where a man was alleged to be huffing paint in the parking lot. Police arrested Cory Russell of Carlisle, charging him with public intoxication controlled substance (excludes alcohol) and theft by unlawful taking, shoplifting. He was alleged to have taken three cans of dust remover from Walmart.

Aug. 4 – At 5:50 p.m., Nina Hall, Pike Street, reported that a camera and debit card were taken from her residence.

Aug. 5 – At 8:27 a.m., Richard Phillips who works for Taylor Plumbing reported that someone broke into a work truck that was parked on Keyhoe Alley overnight and took a 60-foot roll of copper, a 10-foot roll and a saws all.

Aug. 5 – At 11:15 a.m.,  Richard Hutchinson reported the theft of a bucket for a back hoe as well as numerous tools.

Aug. 7 – At 3:26 p.m., police investigated a report of alleged kidnapping from an Ohio man. He told police he was picked up in Ohio and driven to Harrison County.

Aug. 1 – At 10:03 a.m., police were notified of a domestic situation that had allegedly occurred the previous day.

Aug. 8 – At 3:36 p.m., a Quail Drive man reported that he has been harassed and threatened by a neighbor.

Aug. 8 – At 4 p.m., a report was made regarding a domestic situation.

Aug. 9 – At 10:33 p.m., Emery H. Withers, Walnut Street, reported that window was broken on his building.

Aug. 10 – At 9 a.m., Lynn Bowers reported that he had given his vehicle to an individual to drive and it had not been returned in two weeks and was reportedly in Cincinnati.

Aug. 10 – At 9:49 p.m., a reported was taken of a checkbook that had been lost over the weekend.

Aug. 10 – At 4:58 p.m., a report was made from a woman who alleged that a former neighbor had threatened her children.

Aug. 11 – At 12:32 a.m., a report of shoplifting was made by Gene Keyse of Walmart. Police arrested Shawna Estes charging her with shoplifting.

Aug. 11 – At 7:31 p.m., police were called to the Cynthiana Airport where an aircraft had made an emergency landing.

Aug. 12 – At 1:48 p.m., police were called to Sunset Court where Wesley Herrington had allegedly been bitten by Bo Banks’ dog.

Aug. 12 – At 9 a.m., a report of a threat was made against a woman who told police an individual was reportedly going to kill her or have someone else do it.

Aug. 13 – At 2:22 a.m., police were given an attempt to locate call regarding a vehicle that had just left Carlisle with a wallet containing a large amount of cash. The vehicle also had a Harrison County Fire Department radio in it. Within minutes, a call was received that a sexual assault was occurring on Walnut Street. There were several other bogus calls made.

Arrests, warnings, citations

July 31 -- Sandra Southwood, 42, was arrested on Confederate Drive and charged with unlawful imprisonment, wanton endangerment, attempted murder, domestic violence, attempted murder, fleeing or evading police.

July 31 -- Joseph B. Taylor, 52, was cited on Main Street for no registration plates.

July 31 -- Ronald Brown, 19, was arrested on Pleasant Street and charged with possession of open alcohol container in motor vehicle, license to be in possession, operating motor vehicle under influence of alcohol, under 21 years old, failure to illuminate head lamps.

July 31 -- Kimberly Antrobea, 18, was arrested on Pleasant Street and charged with alcohol intoxication.

Aug. 1 -- Michelle L. Glass, 38, was arrested on Court Street on a warrant for theft by deception including cold check, prescription controlled substance no in property container (three counts).

Aug. 1 -- Joshua K. Angel, 35, was arrested on Main Street on a warrant for failure to produce insurance card, 16 mph over speed limit, failure to wear seat belts, license to be in possession, alcohol intoxication in a public place, possession of a controlled substance (two counts), prescription of controlled substance no in proper container.

Aug. 2 -- Obie D. Roberts, 55, was arrested on Pleasant Street at First Stop and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place and disorderly conduct.

Aug. 3 -- Cory J. Russell, 19, was arrested on U.S. 27 South and charged with public intoxication controlled substance (excludes alcohol), and theft by unlawful taking, shoplifting.

Aug. 4 -- Harry W. Clark, 41, was arrested on Court Street and charged with fourth degree assault, minor injury.

Aug. 4 -- Benjamin Frizzell, 21, was arrested on Main Street on a warrant for improper plate, and cited for operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, improper plate, improper equipment, failure to wear seat belts, no registration plates, improper display of registration plates, operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, license to be in possession, failure of non-owner to maintain required insurance, no registration receipt.

Aug. 4 -- Stephanie J. Price, 21, was arrested on Old Lair Road and charged with theft by unlawful taking from an auto.

Aug. 4 -- Pablo Martinez, 52, was arrested on Bridge Street and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place third or more offenses within 12 months.

Aug. 5 -- Nicholas C. Hounchell, 18, was arrested on Church Street and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place.

Aug. 5 -- Justin E. Tolliver, 21, was arrested on Monmouth Street on a warrant for person under 18 in possession, purchasing or attempting to purchase.

Aug. 6 -- Michael D. Knipper, 37, was arrested on Walnut Street and charged with wanton endangerment, operating motor vehicle under influence of alcohol/drugs/etc., driving DUI on suspended license under aggravated circumstances, possession of open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle.

Aug. 7 -- Joey A. McIlfresh, 22, was arrested on Court Street on a warrant for unlawful imprisonment.

Aug. 8 -- Mary C. Hatfield, 59, was arrested on Main Street and charged with criminal trespass.

Aug. 8 -- Clinton K. O’Brien, 30, was arrested on Pleasant Street on a violation of EPO/DVO.

Aug. 8 -- Jeremy A. Stone, 24, was arrested on Hillside Drive and charged with theft by unlawful taking, auto.

Aug. 8 -- Juan Escobar, 28, was arrested on Walnut Street and charged with fourth degree assault, domestic violence.

Aug. 9 -- Michael Keith King, 25, was arrested on Court Street on a probation violation for felony offense.

Aug. 9 -- Anthony T. Lizer, 36, was arrested on  Wilson Avenue and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place.

Aug. 9 -- Brandon L. Pennington, 23, was arrested on Pleasant Street and charged with carrying a concealed weapon.

Aug. 9 -- Tony R. Wade, 56, was arrested on Court Street and charged with public intoxication, excludes alcohol.

Aug. 11 -- Shawna  R. Estes, 28, was arrests on U.S. 27 South and charged with theft by unlawful taking, shoplifting.

Aug. 12 -- Martin A. Taylor, 63, was arrested and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place and possession/use of radio that sends/receives police messages.
