CYNTHIANA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Dec. 29 – At 9:56 p.m., police were called to Hillside Apartments for a domestic disturbance in progress. Police arrested John Roberts, charging him with alcohol intoxication in a public place and violation of an EPO/DVO.

Dec. 31 – At 3:06 p.m., Leonard C. Mineer, Cynthiana, reported that he was assaulted.

 Dec. 31 – At 4:23 p.m., police took a report from a juvenile who said she has been receiving harassing and threatening text messages from another individual.

Jan. 1 – At 3:08 p.m., William Selin, Oxley Avenue, reported that the license plate from his vehicle was stolen either at his home or at Harrison Square.

Jan. 1 – At 7:07 p.m., a Hinkston Avenue woman reported that she had been physically threatened.

Jan. 2 – At 4:04 p.m., a juvenile reported that she had been shoved by other juveniles in front of Movie Warehouse.

Jan. 3 – At 12:44 a.m., a Church Street woman reported that her husband got a gun out of their bedroom and she felt threatened by his actions.

Jan. 5 – At 12:21 a.m., Erin Oakley of Apple Market, Shell, reported a shoplifter. Police tracked an individual who had $3.23 of merchandise including a pack of Little Debbie’s doughnuts, an oatmeal cookie and two beef and cheese sticks.

Jan. 5 – At 1:27 p.m., Whitney Barker Abbott reported that he husband had been missing since New Year’s night. Later in the day, the husband called police to say he was at a friend’s house and was fine.

Jan. 6 – At 2 p.m., Robert Case, Walnut Street, reported that someone stole his new Quickie wheelchair. He said he left his residence in his truck to pick someone up at Ken’s and when he returned, the wheelchair was gone. It was valued at $2,600.

Jan. 6 – At 4:01 p.m., police filed an emergency protective order for a Plum Court woman against her husband.

Jan. 6 – At 4 a.m., a Taylor Drive resident, reported that she found footprints in the snow that led to her back door. The footprints would have been made between 2 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 6. She told police her home had been burglarized before and was wary of it happening again.

Arrests, warning, citations

Jan. 1 -- Laquishia Talbott, 22, was cited on West Pleasant Street for license to be in possession, no registration plates and failure of non-owner to maintain required insurance.

Jan. 1 -- Gilvani, listed as a 23-year-old John Doe, was arrested on West Pleasant Street and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place.

Jan. 2 -- Tony R. Wade, 55, was arrested on Leawood Drive and charged with criminal trespassing and alcohol intoxication in a public place.

Jan. 4 -- Charlotte Smith, 43, was cited on U.S. 27 South for speeding and license to be in possession.

Jan. 4 -- Timothy L. Peak, 19, was arrested on Main Street on a warrant for fraudulent use of a credit card and on a warrant for probation violation on a felony offense.

Jan. 5 -- Teddie Prater, 23, was arrested on Pleasant Street and charged with alcohol intoxication in a public place and theft by unlawful taking/shoplifting.

Jan. 7 -- Pedro H. Diaz, 49, was arrested on Pike Street and charged with fourth degree assault, domestic violence minor injury.

Jan. 7 -- Clinton K. O’Brien, 29, was arrested on Harrison Avenue and charged with operating a motor vehicle under influence of alcohol/drugs/etc. under aggravated circumstances, wanton endangerment, a warrant for violation of EPO/DVO, warrant for speeding, failure to wear seat belts and license to be in possession.
