A Cynthiana police officer is suspended after a private employee hearing with city commissioners Thursday afternoon.
Joe F. Warden was charged by Chief Ray Johnson for failing to stop at an intersection and colliding with another vehicle while responding to an emergency call on Dec. 26, according to the city’s final order of disciplinary action.
The final order was read by city attorney John Lair following Thursday’s hearing.
Warden will be suspended without pay for 16 days.
He is scheduled to return back to work on Saturday, Feb. 6.
