Sept. 1 At 5:49 p.m., Ptl. Shannon Miller reported that he attempted to detain Stephen McElheny on two occasions for questions regarding his drivers license. However, McElheny allegedly avoided police twice. According to the report McElheny has numerous warrants for arrest out of Fayette County.
Sept. 2 At 11:10 a.m., Ptl. Scott Loechel was on patrol on South Walnut Street when he was approached by a juvenile who has bleeding from a cut above his eye. The juvenile told police he had been assaulted on Old Lair Road.
